This morning ride includes three monastery visits with up to 20 riders. The route goes through Kastraki with a stop at the Badovas caves. The full trip takes 4 hours.

Choose this if you want three monastery visits in a morning ride. It also stops at the Badovas caves. The group has up to 20 riders.

The ride starts in Kalabaka with a briefing. You reach the Badovas caves before passing through Kastraki. The route has views of all six monasteries with entry to three of them. The descent returns you to the same bike shop.

The e-bike and helmet are included. Water and a reflective vest are included too. A raincoat is available if needed. Monastery entry fees are paid separately in cash.

Before you book

  • Meet at the bike shop beside Shell in Kalabaka for the 09:00 start. There is no hotel pickup.
  • Booking ages are 0 to 3 or 12 to 75. Infant seats are available.
  • A booking covers up to eight people. The full group can have up to {maxShared} riders.
  • Cover your shoulders for monastery entry. Women need a skirt below the knee. Men need long trousers.
  • This ride is not recommended during pregnancy or for people with heart problems.
  • Bad weather can cancel the ride. You get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before departure.

After you will let behind the city of Kalabaka it is time for you to visit the hermit caves of Bandova and then you will have the first WOW image of the tour.   3. Short stop

    It is time now for the most fun part of the tour, the downhill.The tour leader will take you safe back to the city to our meeting point and the tour will end.
